Preston North End’s opening game of 2023, away to Stoke City, has been rescheduled as a result of the hosts’ preceding fixture being moved.
PNE were initially set to head to the bet365 Stadium for a 3pm kick-off on New Year’s Day, however this fixture has been pushed back 24 hours, now set to take place on Monday 2nd January at 3pm.
This is due to Stoke City’s game against Burnley being rescheduled to Friday 30th December, after Burnley’s preceding fixture was also pushed back because of TV selection.
Please note, the game against Stoke City has not been selected for television coverage, and ticket details for this fixture will be confirmed nearer the date of the game.
