Charity Auction To Raise Funds For Life-Saving Treatment

14 August 2020

PNE are holding a charity auction on behalf of defender Paul Huntington with a 2019/20 third shirt and match ball up for grabs, both signed by the PNE first team squad.

The auction is in aid of a charity close to the heart of our No.23, as he's hoping to raise funds for a family from his local area who are raising vital funds for two-year-old Stanley Dalton to have a life-saving operation in Singapore.

The auction will end at 8pm on Monday 17th August and will run for one week, with the signed match ball and a 2019/20 third shirt printed with 'Huntington 23' on the back and signed by the first team squad.

Bid Here

You can place your bids on our official eBay page or if you would like to donate a smaller amount to the family directly, you can visit their JustGiving page by clicking here. All donations no matter how big or small are very much appreciated by the family.

Speaking of the raffle, Hunts said: "It's a story close to my heart as I have friends who are close to the family and I'm trying to raise as much awareness and funds as I can to help the family reach their target so they can take Stan to Singapore.

"I want to thank everyone for their support, it's appreciated by not only me, but the whole Dalton family.

"All donations are hugely appreciated and the more we can raise for the family the better."

The initial target was set at £500,000 but the family are hoping to continue to fundraise beyond this milestone in order to try and cover all costs associated with the operation and treatment as well as accommodation for the family while in Singapore.

Stanley was first diagnosed with leukaemia at just 16 months old and after a long period of treatment and being in and out of hospital, the family were given the devastating news in June this year that the leukaemia had returned.

There is currently no other treatment available to Stanley in the UK and his only hope is to travel to Singapore for treatment.

Everyone at PNE would like to send their best wishes to Stanley and the Dalton family.
