Nicky Wroe has extended his stay at Greenhous Meadow until the 25th January.
The midfielder, who made seven appearances for the Lilywhites earlier this season, has featured twice for the Club that North End signed him from in the summer of 2012 since returning towards the end of October.
He is also eligible to play for Town in their FA Cup first round match against Walsall this weekend.
In total, Wroe has made 54 appearances for the Lilywhites to date, scoring 11 times lasts season in all competitions, including a hat-trick in a 3-2 away win against Scunthorpe United.
