Virgin Trains have agreed to become the club’s new official travel partners for the 2016/17 season.
This means that season ticket holders will again be able to benefit from discounts of up to 25 per cent off trains on the Virgin Rail network this year.
The previous club and shirt sponsor will become the new travel partner with immediate effect, meaning all season ticket holders for this new season will benefit from 25 per cent discount on advance off peak advanced fares on their network, when purchased through virgintrains.co.uk/pnefc.
As part of the deal, the club will again partner with Virgin Trains to run a special charter train, which will operate for the Fulham game in March 2017, full details and pricing to be announced in the early part of next year.
Speaking about the new partnership a club spokesman said: “We are delighted that Virgin Trains have agreed to retain their relationship with us for the benefit of our fans.
“The last two seasons have been highly successful with thousands of supporters taking advantage of this offer and no doubt many more will do so again going forward. Virgin Trains have been an exceptional partner and therefore being able to maintain a deal is positive for both parties.”
Anna Doran, General Manager at Virgin Trains on the West Coast added: “We’re delighted to be continuing our support of Preston North End for a third season.
“As official travel partner of the club we’re proud to be playing our part in getting fans to and from the matches with an exclusive travel discount. We’ll also be working with PNE on a number of exciting initiatives. We can’t wait for the new season to start and will be backing PNE in their first match of the season against Reading.”
