Opportunity To View Display Of Proposed New Training Facility

10 February 2017

A display of the planning application for the new first team training facility for PNE will be open to the public at Deepdale.

The motivation behind the relocation of the training facility is to support the club's aspirations and ambitions to play at the highest tier of English football.

Such aspirations bring a commensurate need for training facilities which are of the highest standard; this helps to attract and retain the type of professional players who can perform at this level.

The display will be available to view from 11th February until 11th March in the Sir Tom Finney Stand reception at the stadium.

There will be a drop-in exhibition event between 10am and 1pm on the Thursdays and Fridays within the above dates.

At the exhibition, the public will be able to a view a 3D model up close and provide any comments on the proposed development.

Additionally, the exhibition will also be accessible between 10am and 12pm on Saturday 25th February and Saturday 11th March, to give as many people as possible the chance to take a look.

As part of the planning for the proposed development, PNE are keen to consult on the scheme in order to allow members of the public to view the proposals and provide feedback and comments.

The intention is for the first team to be training at the facility in time for the 2018/19 season and therefore being occupied in August 2018. As such, construction is targeted to be commenced on site as soon as possible.

Below is a video showing a virtual tour of the proposed new training ground.
